Seri Brunei – Bab Pertama

Posted on 14/03/201009/08/2023 By Reedz

In conjunction with 26th Brunei National Day celebration, the Brunei Darussalam Student Society Wales (BDSS) in collaboration with Brunei Student Union organized and event in Cardiff entitled ‘Seri Brunei’. The theme for the day was “The traditional Brunei wedding” which showcased a Bruneian wedding which is steeped in Bruneian culture and tradition. There were also various performances such as Malay traditional dance and musical performances by talented members. As is customary with all Bruneian weddings, guests were treated to a Bruneian Malay meal with typical kenduri dishes including lamb curry! AWESOME!

The venue, University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC)

Excited to watch the performance!

Posted on 02/12/201022/01/2013

After a long first day of tours and visits, and feeling a bit famished, the bus made a beeline for Tomyam Klasik. A bit dark when we got in. Would’ve loved to get some color in the sky. But ah well, when you just had to grab those pants on…
