Posted on 01/04/201001/04/2010 By Reedz

BruKent Society is a society which aims to unite all the Bruneian students studying in the University of Kent, from both Canterbury and Medway campuses. Not only that, the society’s purpose is also to provide a fantastic Bruneian experience to both members and non-members alike through activities and events which can promote and educate them about Bruneian culture, traditions and beliefs.

Since its ratification in February 2010, BruKent Society has organized one major social event celebrating three of Brunei’s most important holidays, namely Chinese New Year, the National day of Brunei Darussalam and Maulidur Rasul. Not only that, BruKent Society has also competed in the University of Kent’s International Students Showcase and became the proud winner of the ‘Best Cultural Performance Category’.
