The Empire Hotel & Country Club’s Bunker Café – a dining venue that overlooks the putting green, South China Sea and Hole 1 of The Empire Hotel & Country Club’s 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, is featuring a deliciously new appetizing menu, highlighting both local and international cuisine.
Start off your meal by stimulating your appetite with beautiful array of healthy green selections, such as the Salad “Caprese” – tossed with tomatoes, mozarella, rocket leaves and then dressed with balsamic vinegar or the Classical Caesar Salad, prepared with a grilled chicken.
Delicious snacks and sandwiches are also available to work up your appetite, particularly for golfers after a round of golf. Healthier options are also available such as Chicken Quesadilla – grilled chicken, tucked with chili guacamole and smeared with sour cream, Grilled Red Snapper sandwich served with toasted Italian white bread, rocket salad, sun dried tomatoes and aioli and Smoked Salmon on Rye – slices of smoked Tasmanian Salmon on German Rye bread with traditional condiments.
Be prepared for the wholesome dishes under main course such as the delicious Teriyaki marinated Fillet of Cod served with wok fried vegetables with steam rice, the Grilled Chicken breast with Mediterranean vegetables and Tagliatelle Pasta and a luscious Penne Pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, olives, raisins, rocket leaves and pine seeds.
For those who prefer Asian food, Bunker Café offers selections of traditional rice and noodle dishes as well as Asian salads.
