Gerai Ramadan Walkabout – Pasar Gadong


In conjunction with The Holy Month of Ramadan and the forthcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, D’Other Office Cafe & Bistro and Ranoadidas.Com together with Brunei Participating Youth 2008 and Ex Brunei PY’s for South East Asian Youth Program and Brunei Bloggers is organizing A ONE DAY RAMADHAN CHARITY SALE to generate fund for Pusat Ehsan.

The main highlight of this project will be NASI BRIYANI AMAL 1429 SALE for B$10. All proceed from the selling of NASI BRIYANI SET that comes either with Chicken or Beef, including Dalcha, Pajeri Nenas and Acar Timun in a set of B$10 will be donated to the fund directly. I don’t recall having visited the Gadong market stalls during Ramadan, but yesterday, on the way to the fish markets, I made a quick stop there to see what it was like. I think its the same vendors selling the usual fare that’s available daily at the Gadong stalls. Anyway, it was quite packed and I saw quite a few familiar faces there.

Once you pass through this area, your clothes need to go straight into the laundry basket…
