The CheezBox Session

Cheezebox, as the name suggests, is pretty well-known for its wonderful cheese cakes. Yesterday, they unveiled a whole bunch of additions to their selection of cheesecakes and other treats to the media.

Food pornography in session

The star attraction for me… Chocolate and Banana cake. A thick layer of chocolate cream with fresh sliced bananas sandwiched in between layers of moist chocolate cake. One word came to mind when I tasted this… “DECADENT”

Apple crumble pie – Good and wholesome!

Sifu adjusting his subject… kalau aku, ku katik2 saja tu heheh!

Banana Chocolate cake from another angle… *bites fist*

Banana Mocha Cheesecake. I’m a sucker for bananas so…

Green Tea and Chocolate Cheesecake for the adventurous

I liked the subtle flavour of the Lavender Cheesecake

Another innovative cheesecake. Baked and chilled combo 🙂

Lychee Cheesecake! Definitely refreshing!

Durian Crepes Cake.. Gilaaaaa kaliiiii! Fightfairy said, “Heavennnnly”

The best bits of an apple crumble is the crumble heheh

The Salmon Broccoli Quiche which I loved!

Large variety of pies including chicken pie, tomyam chicken pie, black pepper lamb, and that great favorite, Steak and Mushroom pie. Scrumdelish!

  1. Hey AB. Just wondering if you noticed the typo on the second picture, on the food p____ in session 🙂 just thought you life to know. great blog by the way

  2. Reeda, your post on the cheese cake was really nice. So, we went on the last public holiday (Sultan's bday) to CheezBox and was looking forward to try out their so called 'variety of cheese cakes' as what you have posted here. But I was so so so so so disappointed that NONE of the cheese cakes were available! -yea NONE. I asked why, they said they have not baked them yet!!!! Whats their point of promoting it when they cant live up to customers expectations – I expected to taste their mouth watering looking cheese cakes. I mean..come on! We came during lunch time plus it was a public holiday. They should have prepared and would expect more customers. ..And they got the cheek to call themselves CheezBox…more like No Cheez Box to me.

Other than that, most of what we asked for on the menu that day were not available and my husband's hotdog was soggy and looked like a typical pasar malam ones or might be even better. As a matter of fact, I seldom go to CheezBox as I dont find the food that tasteful but because of your latest post/promotion on the cheesecakes, we decided to give it a try..but it was a total disappointment and a total waste of our money!! I hope CheezBox management reads my post.
